Scandinavia is the principal market, but Gruvteknik has customers from all around the world. Regular customers in Africa include countries such as Tunisia, Morocco, Ghana and Kenya. In South America, most customers are found in Chile and Ecuador. In Asia, business is mainly made in India, but China seems to be emerging as a strong outlet. Deliveries are steady to Australia and in North America, Canada is a good market.

In many of these countries, the demand is particularly high for mining machinery and spares. In other countries, the flourishing construction industry generates inquires for the machinery supplied by Gruvteknik.

One of the oldest customers, tunneller Bo W. Persson, has been buying equipment from Gruvteknik AB in principle since the company was founded in 1979. “I have been purchasing, leasing and had repaired handheld drills and other machinery of various types over many years. Gruvteknik has delivered pipes, couplings, scaling rods, bolts and all conceivable equipment for the tunnel construction projects I have been involved in”, Bo W. Persson explains.

“The inventory of Gruvteknik is impressive and the company has unique skills in an industry where it can otherwise prove difficult organising deliveries of machinery, spares and service quickly”, tunneller Bo W. Persson emphasises.
